Velvet was one of the most successful Spanish series in recent years. Telemundo set out to reinvent it for Latin American audiences, moving its story of romance, fashion, and class divides to the vibrant city of New York.
The challenge: build anticipation on social media ahead of the premiere, and connect with an audience deeply attuned to the world of fashion, telenovelas, and modern drama.
We worked on the digital campaign designed for social media —primarily Instagram— combining teaser videos, cast-driven content, and graphic pieces to establish the show's visual and narrative tone. We focused on capturing luxury, romance, and the pulse of the city. Using recreated NYC backdrops, layered graphic treatments, and emotionally driven captions, we also designed character moodboards to introduce each persona in a visually striking, accessible way.
In addition, cast interviews helped create closeness with the audience and reinforced the emotional connection to the story.
The result was a dynamic, visually rich campaign aligned with today’s content consumption habits: short-form, high-impact, emotionally charged pieces designed to grab attention from the very first scroll. A timeless story with new textures —and a campaign that told it with elegance and style.
